I LOVE nature...and I'm especially drawn to the shadows created right before the sun sets. Below is one of my favorite pictures from one of those moments! More to come sometime in the near future...


From a completely different setting (different state - above is SD, below is NE - actually! :))...

There's something about a tree standing alone next to a grain bin that just looks so beautiful to me...I hope you enjoy these and find them as relaxing as I do (and don't find them completely boring ;))...the picture above was taken last, when the sunset got really dark...absolutely amazing what colors come out at sunset!

Lauren's 3 Year Pics

Lauren turned 3 this year so we decided to take some pictures! These are "raw photos" - in other words, no photoshopping/touch-ups.

I can't believe how big she is. Such a pretty girl!

Of course I love the pink shoes :) We got them for her to wear for our wedding so she would be comfy...too bad they didn't come in my size!

Seriously? Could she be any cuter? :)

Lauren's 2 year pics

We took my niece Lauren's 2 year pictures last summer... she is going to be 3 soon so you will probably see updated pictures in a month or so! :) You'll notice we really like taking "candid"/"real" photos...
